eBook Aggregator Snapplify sees massive growth in education sector

CAPE TOWN, October 13, 2016 – South African eBook aggregator, Snapplify, has continued to grow since their launch at Frankfurt Book Fair in 2011.

Now the largest eBook aggregator in Africa, Snapplify boasts a catalog of over 250 000 titles, and central retail operations in South Africa and Kenya. The company works with over 260 publishers worldwide to expand eBook distribution into Africa, including Penguin Random House, Bloomsbury, Cambridge University Press, Pearson, Elsevier and Cengage.

Snapplify has achieved considerable success in the South African and Kenyan education markets, where it offers a comprehensive eLearning platform to schools and allows them to purchase their prescribed textbooks in digital format.

This October Snapplify launches its 5th generation Reader application for iOS, as well as its 3rd generation Reader applications for Mac and Windows desktop. These updates bolster their already comprehensive suite of applications for mobile and desktop devices, which also includes Android, Windows tablets, and Google Chromebooks.

Featured Events

  • EduWeek 2017

12 Jul - 13 Jul 2017, Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg

At Snapplify we want to change the way students buy textbooks. Hardcopy books are expensive, heavy to lug around, and they go out of date. In emerging markets, poor textbook delivery and availability make learning difficult. Snapplify solves these problems by giving students digital access to everything they need to learn. That's why we'll be attending and exhibiting at EduWeek, the sustainable development conference, whose goals are so clearly aligned with our own.

  • KESSHA Annual National Conference of Principals

    19 Jun - 23 Jun 2017, Mombasa, Kenya

Snapplify Kenya Team will be attending and exhibiting at the KESSHA Annual National Conference of Principals happening in Kenya. Here we can meet influential members of the Kenyan education sector and showcase our Education Suite.
